Our client is a premium Swiss brand in the international luxury watch segment, and due to a recent vacancy they are seeking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager based in Sydney.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving the overall sales performance and distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the yearly planning process with each wholesale account by defining the business development plan, validating objectives, and following up on the implementation and achievements of targets
  • Implementing sales strategies in line with management guideline for wholesale accounts
  • Access and explore new business opportunities
  • Deliver training to the vendor sales team
  • Ensure the optimal product supply for each account and validating model stock of Point of Sale
  • Order management: Process clients’ track and follow up invoicing and stock deliveries
  • Liaising with Supply Chain, Merchandise Manager and Regional operations team
  • Monitoring the implementation of various stock to maximise and control inventory
  • Coordinate, monitor and ensure the implementation of marketing plans within the distribution network
  • Manage strategically and operationally day to day customer relationship

Key Requirements and Experience:

  • Similar 3-5 years’ experience in a wholesale account management (sales & marketing) role in the luxury Watch sector preferred, in another product category with transferable skills is possible with a determination to learn quickly
  • Demonstrate high negotiation and understanding of business and luxury market dynamics
  • You should bring with you an excellent product sensibility
  • Proven team leadership skills- you should demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff (succession planning, training, performance management)
  • Essential to already have established relationships with major chains and clients
